The Bible: Authoritative | Without Error | Sufficient
Saturdays 9:30-11:45 am | June 10-24 | Room 153 | 3 Sessions

Birdie Harms is a mother of three adult children and 13 grandchildren. She has been married to her husband, Don, for 50 years and lives in Urbandale.  Birdie graduated with a BA in education and spent 13 years teaching.  She homeschooled 4 grandchildren for 7 years and currently is homeschooling her granddaughter. After coming out of Mormonism as an adult, in the 1980s, the Truth of the Bible has been extremely important to Birdie and Don. They have been passionate about the importance of knowing truth and recognizing false teaching. They have served on several missions trips in South America and Europe and recently in Salt Lake City, Utah. Birdie believes the Bible is important for every believer, not only to meditate on and read for instruction in righteousness, but to study and be able to discern, and stand firm, handling rightly the Word of Truth.

Our study will concentrate on:

How do we know that the Bible is absolutely true and reliable?
What does the Bible says about itself?
Is the Bible as true today as it was when it was written?
Is the Bible sufficient for the day we live in?
Are there things in the Bible that are outdated by science or culture?

Join other women at TMC for an in depth study on the timeless and trustworthy Word of God: the Bible
